In this tutorial i will guide you how to embed Rupee Font and use the new Indian Rupee Symbol in your website. the tutorial comprises of two steps only. Lets begin..

Instructions:

  1. Copy and Paste the following code into the head section (before ) of your website or in the existing ‘CSS’ file.
  2. @font-face {
    font-family: Rupee;
    src: url("http://www.indude.com/files/rs.eot") /* EOT file for IE */
    }
    @font-face {
    font-family: Rupee;
    src: url("http://www.indude.com/files/rs.ttf") /* TTF file for CSS3 browsers */
    }
    
    
  3. Wherever you want to use the Rupee Symbol, insert the following code snippet into the source code of your HTML page.

In the same way you can embed and use any type of font in your websites. You just need to upload the ‘TTF’ and ‘EOT’ version of the font on your server.
